Few things in life equal the fear, anxiety and hopelessness felt by newly-diagnosed cancer patients and their families. Most of these people listen closely to the advice of their doctors, who advise relying exclusively on a course of radiation and chemotherapy, and sometimes surgery, to slow the progression of the cancer. But that path, without a radical change in diet and lifestyle, cannot provide a cure.
The conventional treatment of cancer is one of the chief failures of western medicine. Over 1.6 million new cases of cancer are diagnosed every year in the United States alone, and the American Cancer Society reports that 1,600 patients die every single day from the disease. Only cardiovascular disease kills more Americans.
Even patients who go into remission after conventional treatment have a strong chance the disease will recur in the future, reducing their likelihood of survival. That is because standard medical treatment focuses on shrinking and killing malignant cells, but does not address the root cause of the disease. Cancer cells come back because there has been no fundamental change to prevent regeneration of the malignancy.
The answer is to create a blueprint for cancer-free living.
When you have cancer, it means your immune system has stopped working correctly. In that sense, cancer is not making you sick. You have been sick for years, and cancer is a symptom of what is wrong inside your body. Your cells are simply responding to their environment.
Traditional therapies like chemotherapy and radiation make your body sicker, because they further assault your immune system. Before you make a move, get a second opinion, and do your research. Then, whether or not you decide to use these therapies, or have surgery, create your blueprint.
Begin by removing all toxic chemicals from your environment. You will be surprised how many dangerous ingredients are present in your cosmetics, personal care and cleaning products.
Radically rethink your diet. Extreme circumstances require extreme reactions, so don’t be afraid to be a bit extreme now. Adopt a vegan diet. Eliminate all animal protein from your diet. Eat only organic vegetables, fruits, nuts, legumes and whole organically-grown grains.
See a natural health practitioner, and get on a nutritional supplement regimen to support your health. You may want to consider vitamin C, which has been repeatedly proven effective against cancer.
You must get rid of the stress in your life. If you are in a situation in which you are miserable, make the necessary changes. Take up meditation, and enroll in a yoga class.
When you are diagnosed with cancer, at whatever stage and whatever type, you no longer have time to waste. You must act now to save your own life. Not just survival, but complete recovery, is your absolute highest priority.
